An overview of our history

Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring S.A. - German Branch was founded in 1987 as Security Pacific Eurofinance Inc. with its registered office in Frankfurt. The factoring business was launched at the beginning of 1988. In 1991, the branch moved to Munich and was taken over by the French Crédit Lyonnais Group. In 2000, as part of the merger of the factoring units of the Crédit Lyonnais Group and the Euler Hermes Group, it was incorporated into the new Eurofactor Group.

In 2005, Crédit Agricole S.A. took over the Eurofactor Group, and the then Eurofactor AG became a subsidiary of the French Eurofactor S.A. (now Crédit Agricole Leasing &Factoring S.A.). In 2013, the Belgian sister company Eurofactor Benelux was merged into Eurofactor AG. In 2016, Eurofactor Germany, which had been converted back into a GmbH a year earlier, founded a new branch in the Netherlands.

In 2022, Eurofactor GmbH was merged as a branch into Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring S.A. and since then leasing and factoring have been offered by the current branch from a single source. The Belgian and Dutch branches have also been merged into the French CAL&F S.A., but remain operationally linked to CAL&F Germany.
